I have no functioning joysticks that interface with USB, and would like to join the modern world. Does anyone have any suggestions or possibly have a decent USB joystick they would like to sell to me? It seems like the selection on Newegg/Amazon/Best Buy is crap. Maybe no one uses the damn things besides flight sim junkies, but it shouldn\'t be this hard. There\'s a couple of nice looking Saitek situations for $100-200, but being a fickle sonofabitch as I am, might not be the way to go investment-wise. ');

document.write('international power adapter question preface 1. i know that most cheap ( > $10 adapters do NOT convert power type, just physical adapter, all of the electronics i am going to be using do both 110/220, so that is not a concern) 2. primarily i have questions about physical connection, max wattage, etc *** my wife and I are going to France in the fall. We seem to have lost the US/EU/UK adapter\'s we borrowed from a friend 2 years ago - so i need to get a new one for them as well as a pair for us (as we found that 1 adapter was not enough between computers, camera battery chargers, etc) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_power_plugs_and_sockets shows that France uses type E (CEE 7/5) and possibly the "Type E / F hybrid" (CEE 7/7) if so, I have the following questions 1. any advice on adapters, they appear to go INTO the socket (as seen on wikipedia page, "french plug" & "french socket") do most cheap adapters work OK - or are they loose? e.g. http://www.eforcity.com/universal-wo...htxtrigos-item 2. the "plug" appears to have 2 leads and 1 hole (assuming 2 are power, 1 is ground) most adapters only have 2 leads, no hole for ground is this an issue (assuming its like standard US adapters that change 3 pin to 2 pin + screw (which can be ground, but typically never actually grounded - and not a problem 3. this might be too TECHNICAL a question - but, can you safety use one of these adapters into a powerstrip (assuming that the power strip works 110/220; if that is even a consideration - i dont know) for a laptop, 2 camera chargers, etc - rather than an adapter for each device... 4. i guess the ultimate question - FR (type E) is 16A / 250V - while US / UK devices are typically 15A / 110 OR 13A / 230/240V... is 250V going to fry my gear?
